Why I Love Moodboards

Moodboards are one of my favorite ways to communicate creative ideas, whether I’m working on a photoshoot or a client’s wardrobe. Having a visual reference for any project is so important, because it helps the people you’re collaborating with to see your creative flow - the what and the why. Moodboards are like a diagram that show what ideas you’re connecting in your head and why they make sense to you. It also easily allows them to look at an image or idea and ask for clarification if they need it. Plus, I love researching fashion images, cultural references, designer collections, and color palettes to make the entire board come alive. g-xo
