About
I craft compelling style narratives and establish unique fashion perspectives for iconic brands and acclaimed publications by combining my background in writing, art history, and visual art with my distinctive business insights, industry expertise, trend forecasting, and product curation abilities.
My extensive experience in the industry has given me a deep understanding of brand dynamics, the continuously changing competitive landscape, and the intricate elements that contribute to a successful product.
I started my career in fashion as a national buyer and merchandiser in New York City, Milan and Paris for luxury and designer houses including Hermès, Dolce & Gabbana, Christian Dior, and Chanel. In 2002, I left The Big Apple for the West Coast and made the unconventional leap (at the time) from merchandising to media.
In my current role as an editor, stylist, and brand consultant, I have seamlessly integrated my previous work experience, allowing me to fulfill the role of a professional tastemaker, fashion curator, trend spotter, product expert, and brand manager and strategist all in one.
In addition, I am thrilled to share that I have partnered with my sister, Jacqui Argyres, to offer brand strategy consulting services. Together, we provide a personalized journey that guides brands through the complex steps of the branding process. With our unique methodology, Jacqui and I work closely with our clients to develop a brand’s unique proposition and lasting value. To find out more about our practice, please click here.
I believe in the power of fashion to transcend boundaries and connect people. Through every project, I aim to inspire others to embrace their individuality and find their own voice in the world of style.
